Moving day: First wave of personnel begin work at new HQ

Following last week’s ceremonial acceptance of the key to the new U.S. Coast Guard headquarters, the first wave of personnel made the Monday morning commute to their new workplace on the St. Elizabeth’s campus.

Secretary Napolitano and General Services Administration (GSA) Administrator Dan Tangherlini officially opened the DHS Consolidated Headquarters campus yesterday with a ceremonial ribbon cutting at the newly built U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters building.
