The Paratus Report, Episode 6

The newest episode of the Coast Guard Paratus Report is now live! The Paratus Report is a workforce news program focused at keeping Coast Guard members informed of what’s happening throughout their Coast Guard. The episode will air monthly on the official Coast Guard YouTube channel, and a brief recap with additional information will be provided right here on Coast Guard All Hands.

TRICARE resources and benefits

Capt. Eric Johnson, commanding officer of the U.S. Coast Guard’s Health, Safety and Work-Life Service Center joins to talk about the need-to-know information regarding TRICARE benefits and resources. Check out the full series for more information on a weekly basis.

Legal assistance

As PCS season nears, it’s important to make sure all your legal documents are up to date. Chris Dunne, the Coast Guard’s chief of legal assistance, shares what free resources are available to the workforce.

Voting assistance

As the election season kicks off, make sure you take advantage of your ability to easily file for an absentee ballot using the Federal Voting Assistance Program’s website.

Shutter Shootout

Each year, the Coast Guard holds an annual photo competition that aligns with March Madness. Print out a bracket and follow along as we choose the best Coast Guard photo of the year! Stay tuned to Coast Guard Compass for more details. Voting will begin March 15, 2016.
