Coast Guard in Action: Guardians of CGC Tahoma

Over the past week, we have brought you the stories of Guardians responding to the Haiti earthquake. Today, we bring you a simple quote from the commanding officer of the Coast Guard Cutter Tahoma along with Coast Guard images highlighting his crew in action. Together, they tell the story of the Coast Guard response as elegantly as anything we could write.

“This crew is doing some amazing things. Things they have no training or experience in. I have never seen people give so much of themselves to help others in need.” – Commander Jim Spotts, Commanding Officer, USCGC Tahoma
