Paul Martikainen, the man accused of kidnapping his son before Guardians boarded his vessel and rescued the boy, was indicted on kidnapping charges by a grand jury in Florida yesterday. itCG-Migrants intercepted, Toledo thanks, fishermen rescue, performance award

Guardians intercepted four Cuban migrants and a suspected smuggler yesterday. The migrants were traveling in a 19-foot boat 70 miles south of Key West when they were interdicted by the crew from the 110-foot Coast Guard Cutter Key Biscayne. The migrants were returned to Cuba and the smuggler was handed over to Customs and Border Patrol agents. Story here [...]
