As the Coast Guard continues operations in support of U.S. government disaster response and humanitarian assistance efforts to Haiti, there are four Coast Guard Cutters (Forward, Mohawk, Tahoma and Valiant) on-scene with two more cutters (Oak and Hamilton) en route. Paul Martikainen, the man accused of kidnapping his son before Guardians boarded his vessel and rescued the boy, was indicted on kidnapping charges by a grand jury in Florida yesterday.
