Admiral Allen retires from Coast Guard

Today, Admiral Allen officially retired from the United States Coast Guard. When he wakes up tomorrow morning as a civilian, he will no longer wear the uniform but will continue to serve the nation as the National Incident Commander of the BP oil spill.
