After collecting more than 4,587 votes (amazing!) for this year’s People’s Choice Award for the Coast Guard Photo Contest the votes have been tallied and the results are in…  Drum roll please…..
LTJG Christopher O’Meara is the elected victorious winner!  His photo received 235 votes and an average rating of 4.23 out of 5 stars.

Interestingly enough, the top three photos are all of Coast Guard cutters. The two runner’s up are (in order of rating):

This photo by MK2 Joshua Cook is the first runner up with 243 votes and an average rating of 4.12 out of 5 stars (click the image for a higher resolution photo).

This photo by FS1 Douglas A. VanKampen is the second runner up with 288 votes and an average rating of 4.08 out of 5 stars (click the image for a higher resolution photo).
