2010 Photo Contest

It’s week seven of the Coast Guard Photo Contest People’s Choice award. Every Monday for the past seven weeks we have unveiled another batch of photos as we count down the top 40 of the more than 600 photos submitted.

To vote, just click on the picture(s) below that you like and post a positive comment. OR, you can go to our Flickr photo set to see all the pictures nominated so far and leave your comment there. It’s your choice… your People’s Choice.

While next week is the last set of five photos nominated for the People’s Choice award, voting will stay open until March 14.  We will announce the top three People’s Choice photos on Tuesday, March 15.

Haiti Support Preparations

    I was wondering if the photos are suppose to be unedited. The last two look edited and I thought they were suppose to be unedited.

    What a beautiful picture of a gaurdsman repelling down a rope over the ocean during the sunset. Night or day the National Gaurd is on the way.
