Congrats to my unit PSU 307!..we def had some competetition as the other videos were great as well. That was a rewarding mission and one that I will always remember. great team work to secure the port, keep operations running and going out on missions to help the hatian orphanages as well as hatian citizens…Great leaderships from people Like LT Remustat, Wolf and the Chief’s who “made it happen”. Def. proud to be a member of PSU 307 as well as a Coast Guardsman…Hooraahhh

Unfortunately, due to the whole crew being busy there isn’t more pictures of vessel (small boat) rescues. This has always been the case as with the usual boat crew of 3, everyone has an intergral part to play and no one is available to hold a camera. As a retired Boatswain Mate, I was a coxswain participating in more than 2000 rescues in the 70′s and 80′s. Many were routine but numerous were exciting and dangerous. There are thousands of exciting rescues by courageous boatcrews that go un-recorded. Congradulations to everyone who is involved in search and rescue in the smallest military service that has the largest history of doing far more with a whole lot less.

Yeah to bad none of that five star made it back.
