Yesterday, Rear Admiral Ronald Rabago, the Assistant Commandant for Acquisition, gave the House Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation an update on progress replacing the Coast Guard’s aging cutter fleet including the latest on the Fast Response Cutters and National Security Cutters.
According to Navy Times reporter Susan Schept, members of the subcommittee including Chairman Elijah Cummings were impressed with what they heard.
“It has simply been phenomenal,” Cummings said. “We have been very pleased with what you have been able to achieve.”
