We are in week eight for the People’s Choice award for this year’s Coast Guard Photo Contest. This is the final set of photos and voting begins today!
Over the past eight weeks, we’ve highlighted 40 photos out of the over 700 photos submitted for this year’s Coast Guard Photo Contest. It is time to pick your favorites from these 40 images and vote for the People’s Choice award.
Voting opens today and will stay open until next Tuesday, March 2. We will announce the People’s Choice winning photo on Wednesday, March 3.
Click here to cast your votes for your People’s Choice.
You can vote for each photo but should reserve your highest rating for your favorite. **NOTE: Please allow the site to completely upload all photos before clicking the images and voting. This will allow optimal viewing of the pictures and ensures your vote is collected.
Keep in mind, these 40 images are less than 6% of the total number of pictures submitted to the Coast Guard Photo Contest. The official judging for that contest will take place in March and the judges will look at all 777 photos to select the winners. We’ll certainly report back to you on the winners of that contest when they are selected but now is the time for you to pick the People’s Choice.
Here is the final set of five photos to round out the pool of 40 candidates…
