  • Guardians medically evacuated an injured fisherman 160-miles off the coast of Cape Canaveral yesterday. A crew from Air Station Clearwater was dispatched after receiving a VHF radio call that a fisherman suffered a puncture wound to his arm and required immediate medical assistance.

  • Guardians from Station South Padre Island rescued five people in two separate incidents after a cold front brought heavy winds and rain to Texas’ Rio Grande Valley on Monday. A small boat that initially dispatched to help two men on a vessel taking on water ended up locating and rescuing three other people trapped by the storm in a fishing cabin along the way.
